(Aug. 15, 2025) – Distinguished Health Care Advocate Award honors those individuals, organizations or groups who provide an exemplary contribution to the health and well-being of the people of Kansas through their leadership in public, political or policy areas. This year, KHA honors Rep. Derek Schmidt from Kansas's Second Congressional District.

(Aug. 8, 2025) – KHA established the Visionary Award to recognize those who have made an outstanding, innovative contribution to health care delivery, health care financing, and improved the health and clinical outcomes of their community. This year's winner is the Protect Wichita Firefighters Initiative.
