(Aug. 28, 2026) – Federal requirements for electronic prior authorization will take effect on Jan. 1, 2027, requiring Medicare Advantage and other plans to support standardized electronic prior authorization. To help hospitals and health systems prepare, a webinar is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 2.
