Mission: To provide exceptional educational and networking opportunities for managers of health care environmental and linen services.

The Kansas Healthcare Environmental and Linen Services Association provides networking, support and education for persons involved in the many facets of housekeeping and laundry for health care institutions. By sponsoring statewide educational programs, members keep up-to-date on management issues as well as housekeeping and laundry issues.

Membership Opportunity

KHELSA offers the following two levels of membership eligibility:

Type I - $50 Full membership available to persons currently employed by a Kansas health care member facility/provider, either full or part time, in the field of hospital housekeeping. Only Type I members are eligible to serve as officers and directors of the KHELSA board. Also, only Type I members are eligible to vote.

Type II - $75 Patron membership available for national manufacturing companies, regional/area distributors, and sales individuals active in the manufacturing and marketing of housekeeping/environmental services products.

Since its organization in 1971, KHELSA has an active membership and provides one educational program each year.
