The Kansas Association of Health Care Communicators is a group of health care communications professionals dedicated to improving communication with our communities, health care employees, physicians, media and more. KAHCC membership runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. Details are being planned for the KAHCC Spring Conference and Emerald Awards Luncheon. The conference will be in Hutchinson Kansas in April 2019.

The Kansas Association of Health Care Communications invites Kansas hospital and health care providers to enter their communications for a chance to win awards and acclaim from your peers. The Call for Entries is available. Categories in the KAHCC Emerald Awards include: Internal and External Communications, Special Events, Digital Media Projects, Videos, Websites, Advertising, Writing, Media Relations/Crisis Communication, Small Budget-Big Results and Wildcard. We also will be awarding a Best of Show. The Emerald Awards are completely electronic. An entry form and narrative should accompany all entries. Email entries to firstname.lastname@example.org. Entries must be sent by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019. Awardees will be recognized at the KAHCC Emerald Awards banquet during the KAHCC Spring Conference, in Hutchinson.
