KU Tobacco Treatment Education (Dec. 8, 2023) – The University of Kansas is hosting a Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training beginning Feb. 12. The course will give providers the motivation, knowledge and skills to integrate tobacco treatment into their current practices and become tobacco prevention and treatment advocates regionally and at the state level. The KU TTS Program is a virtual, self-paced, eight-week course that requires approximately 14-18 hours to complete and concludes with eight hours of synchronous virtual skills-building training. Visit KU's Tobacco Treatment Education website for more information or contact Melinda Lair, tobacco treatment education program manager, at mlair@kumc.edu.
