(Feb. 9, 2024) – The Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program is now accepting applications for 2024. This program offers loan repayment assistance to registered nurses, nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses and nursing school faculty who agree to work in a Health Profession Shortage Area facility or an eligible school of nursing for at least two years.
This program will pay 60 percent of a nurse's educational loan balance in exchange for a two-year minimum work commitment in a HPSA. Preference is given to nurses based on the greatest financial need and their specialty and/or facility type where employed. Nurses working in counties with higher HPSA scores also will also be given priority. The deadline to apply is Mar. 7, 2024. Click here for more information and/or to apply.
