(Aug. 4, 2023) – With voting being named as a social determinant of health by the American Medical Association more than a year ago, we invite members to participate in this August's Civic Health Month, as led by our partners at Vot-ER. Sign up and join more than 300 health care organizations so you and your institution can take action to involve patients in non-partisan voter registration. We'll be gearing up for the November 2023 elections, as well as thinking ahead to the 2024 electoral cycle. We know health outcomes improve when more people participate in our democracy.
