(Dec. 1, 2023) – The Kansas Hospital Association was thrilled to host the American Hospital Association's chief physician executive, Chris DeRienzo, MD, during his recent trip to Kansas to speak about hospital physician leadership and highlight innovative work at Kansas hospitals.
During his time in Kansas, Dr. DeRienzo visited seven northeast hospitals, both prospective payment system and Critical Access Hospitals. He had the opportunity to speak to numerous Kansas hospital executives and physician leaders who either participated in the KHA Hospital Physician Leadership Committee or served on the KHA Board of Directors. He also presented at the Kansas Physician Leader Forum that KHA cohosted with the Kansas Medical Society and was sponsored by our partner KAMMCO.
