Opioid Educational Webinar: Partnering to Increase Access to SUD Treatment – May 3

Please join us on May 3 to hear how hospitals and communities are partnering to increase access to substance use disorder treatment and harm reduction. The program has been approved for 1.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education and pending approval for 1.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education. There is no charge to attend as this program is funded through a grant from our partners at DCCCA.

APS (Sept. 1, 2023) – Available to download from the APS website is a superb analysis of recent Healthcare Breaches from Critical Insight. The H1 2023 Healthcare Data Breach Report analyzes breach data reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by health care organizations nationally. With the health care industry continuing to be a top attack vector for cybercriminals and ransomware threat groups, H1 2023 saw an interesting change in targets affected by breaches.
