(March 2, 2023) Today, the Senate Ways and Means Committee worked several budgets, including the Kansas Disability and Aging Services budget. The committee, chaired by Senator Rick Billinger (R-Goodland), left the subcommittee recommendation for $5 million for a voluntary inpatient patient observation reimbursement program in place. The committee will be working to package the global budget in the coming weeks, where they will have a chance to make additional amendments.
