(Feb. 7, 2023) – Today, the House Appropriations and Senate Ways and Means Committees saw the introduction of a bill to expand the Medicaid program in Kansas. Additionally, Sen. Carolyn McGinn (R-Sedgwick) introduced legislation to ensure the sustainability of telehealth for Kansas-based providers beyond the public health emergency. Mirror legislation has been previously introduced in the House Health and Human Services Committee. These pieces of legislation will be assigned a bill number in the following days in each of their chambers.
