(March 27, 2023) – Today, the Kansas Supreme Court justices held a hearing on two abortion cases. This is the first time the Kansas court has considered abortion cases since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned federal protections last summer and Kansas voters had a vote on the matter. One case deals with the ban on dilation and evacuation abortions. The second deals with clinic regulations. There is no timeline on rulings that could be made in the future on the matters before the Kansas Supreme Court.
