(Feb. 8, 2023) – Today, the House took final action to pass the following bills:
House Bill 2033 – Concerning children and minors, changing criteria used to refer and admit juveniles for a behavioral health crisis
House Bill 2042 – Concerning self-storage rental units, authorizing towing by operators of such units of motor vehicles, watercraft or trailers if the occupant is in default for more than 45 days
House Bill 2069 – Relating to post-release supervision, providing that such term does not toll except as provided by law
House Bill 2070 – Relating to sentencing, allowing certain non-drug offenders to participate in a certified drug abuse treatment program.
These bills now go to the Senate for further review and debate.
