House Federal and State Affairs Committee Hears Tobacco 21 Legislation

Tobacco Products (Feb. 9, 2023) – Today, the House Federal and State Affairs Committee, chaired by Representative Will Carpenter (R-El Dorado), held a hearing on House Bill 2269. The legislation raises the minimum age for the sale, purchase or possession of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and tobacco products to individuals under 21 years of age.
