MCHHS is a full-service, 25-bed, Critical Access Hospital located in North Central Kansas. The hospital provides a 24-hour ER (designed Level IV trauma center), surgical services, an inpatient acute/intensive care unit, a swing-bed program, a 36-bed resident care center and outpatient services. The controller performs all accounting activities of the hospital, working closely with the chief financial officer and department managers. Financial responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivable, balance sheets and monthly/yearly financial closings, audits, bank deposits, reconciliation of bank accounts and assisting with the hospital chargemaster. A bachelor's degree in accounting with experience in health care is preferred. Excellent skills in math computation, financial analysis and Excel are required.
