(May 2026) – In April, KHA members traveled to Washington, DC, for the AHA Annual Meeting and met with our congressional delegation. We thanked them for their help in pushing for CMS's approval of the state's provider tax. We also discussed our concerns about both old and emerging issues.
(May 2026) – KHA is one of the founding organizations of Kansas Health Matters, an important tool to help hospitals with community health needs assessments and community health improvement plans. Many members also use this site to collect data needed for grants or other funding applications.

Phil Gilliland, Salina Regional Health Center, Salina and North Central Kansas Medical Center, Concordia, was selected as the 2025 Trustee of the Year.
