(March 2026) – To simplify collection of the payer-mix measures, all payer breakouts have been consolidated into a single measure; Payer Mix Breakout.
(March 2026) – The Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program requires participating hospitals to report the Emergency Department Transfer Communication measures. These measures are designed to improve care transitions by ensuring key data elements are consistently documented during patient transfers from rural emergency departments to receiving facilities.
(March 2026) – The QHi team offers a monthly review session for all participants. Each session begins with a brief program update highlighting news and recent enhancements to the tool. Participants are then guided through the fundamentals of selecting measures, adding users, entering or uploading data and running and scheduling customized reports.

(December 2025) – The QHi Core Measure Dashboards on the QHi home page have been refreshed with a cleaner, sharper look. The Best Practice Performer criteria have also been updated—new details can be found directly beneath the dashboard.
(December 2025) – All Kansas hospitals should review the NHSN measure data updated through October. Going forward, QHi will be refreshed within 30 days after the end of each month. Please inform us if your data is not visible.
(December 2025) – The Kansas Hospital Association welcomes Azucena Gonzalez as our new program manager for data analytics.
(December 2025) – Scheduled to be available by the end of the month, the help section will now use Knowledge Base to provide a centralized digital repository for information, making it easier for QHi users to find answers and solutions.
