Our visits to DC this week were well-timed, as the federal government's current funding statute expires on Jan. 30, 2026, and lawmakers are scrambling to reach a deal to extend EPTC. Our federal delegation is fighting on our behalf on this issue and others, including Kansas' provider tax, REH flexibilities, 340B protection and RHTP implementation.

HHS Signals Plans to Drop 340B Rebate Pilot Appeal
In its Jan. 12 filing with the First Circuit Court of Appeals, HHS said it plans to drop its appeal of an order blocking the 340B rebate pilot. The filing also said HHS is in discussions with AHA about "returning the approvals challenged in this litigation to the agency for reconsideration."
