Medicaid Rate Increases Set for July 1

(June 30, 2023) – Effective with dates of service on and after July 1, 2023, a 3 percent rate increase will be applied to physician Medicaid rates as indicated in the Service Code List. Additional rate increases include a Laboratory Rate Leveling to move all laboratory codes to pay at a minimum of 85 percent of the Medicare rate, and Global Pregnancy Services for codes 59400 and 59510 to 70 percent of the Medicare rate. The Kansas Hospital Association continues to advocate on our members' behalf to ensure adequate reimbursement for health care services provided.
