Health Care Preceptor Academy - May 23

The health care preceptor academy is designed to engage and grow current and future preceptors with key education tools and strategies to foster a strong preceptororientee relationship. This interactive program provides information and practical tools to improve preceptor abilities.

KHSC Board Meeting - May 28

KHSC was founded in November 1984 for the purpose of providing needed products and services to Kansas Hospital Association member hospitals. KHSC's primary objective is to partner with organizations that can provide quality products and services to Kansas health care institutions at a reasonable price. KHSC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission to serve hospitals.

KHA/KHSC Board Retreat

The Kansas Hospital Association has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas; all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include American Hospital Association delegate.

KHSC's Newest Endorsed Partner AblePay Addresses Affordability Gap in Health Care

AblePay (April 26, 2024) – AblePay is one of the Kansas Health Service Corporation's newest endorsed partners. AblePay addresses the patient affordability gap for Kansas hospitals and the patients they serve. KHSC is sponsoring a free webinar at noon on May 8 where members can learn more about the solution already being implemented in four Kansas hospitals.

During this demonstration webinar, you will learn how the AblePay solution will increase your revenue while providing a better patient experience overall. They will also share, through provider case studies, how its program positively changes patient payment behavior.
