(March 6, 2026) – The Kansas Department of Transportation is hosting a
Drone Technology Workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a focus on public safety from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on hospitals and medical logistics from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Mid-America Air Museum in Liberal. The aim is to introduce participants to the use of emerging aviation technologies for immediate and near-term benefits. Presentations on public safety and health care personnel will focus on using drone technology for emergency preparedness and moving high-value cargo, including medical supplies. Go to
