(Sept. 19, 2025) – The Kansas State Board of Nursing has two vacant committee positions on the KSBN Practice Committee and is currently accepting applications. To be a member of the Practice Committee, you must be a nurse (registered nurse or licensed practical nurse), licensed in the state of Kansas, engaged in practice and/or IV Therapy. The committee's purposes are to review and recommend revisions in advanced practice registered nurse and restorative nursing assistant statutes and regulations, provide non-binding guidance on the scope of nursing and licensed mental health technician practice in response to written inquiries and make recommendations to amend the practice act that reflect current nursing and mental health technician practice.
