This program is for board chairs, chair-elects , vice chairs and board members in line to be chair. Session resources will be shared with the board members CEOadministrator since they will not be able to attend the program.

Noon Briefing: Navigating Immigration Visas in Health Care – Nov. 19

This Noon Briefing will provide an overview designed to help hospital leaders understand the fundamentals of immigration visas in health care settings. The session will address key visa types, common employer pitfalls, and steps to take before engaging in recruitment or sponsorship. Participants will gain a practical understanding of what questions to ask, when to seek legal guidance and how to prepare their organization to navigate these requirements with confidence.

Rural Health Symposium - Nov. 20

This symposium aims to provide attendees with the skills, ideas and information necessary to survive in the rapidly changing world of rural health care. It is designed for senior-level administrators, hospital trustees and others interested in rural health issues.

We are excited to offer the membership the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities at your hospitals with policymakers. This year, we are excited to host legislative dinners throughout the state featuring interactive conversations about hospital challenges.

2025 KPQC Fall Conference Slides and Resource Links Available

KPQC (Nov. 7, 2025) – On Oct. 28, the Kansas Perinatal Quality Collaborative hosted a very informative fall conference. hosted a very informative fall conference. The event included insightful presentations on OB emergencies, transportation and hot topics in obstetrics. Thank you to the speakers who generously shared their time and expertise: Heather Scruton, MSN, assistant director of critical care transport at Children's Mercy Kansas City, Heather Morgan, MD, neonatologist at Ascension Via Christi Manhattan, Inc. and Tara Chettiar, MD, FACOG, OB-GYN at The University of Kansas Health System. The slides are now available on the KPQC website and can be accessed by clicking the links below, along with helpful resource links. Please share this with interested staff members who were unable to attend.
