Mar. 22, 2024) – The Rural Utilities Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture will begin accepting applications on March 22 for the Reconnect Loan and Grant Program. The program provides loans and grants for constructing, improving or acquiring facilities and equipment needed for broadband service. Funding for qualified applicants, including Federally Recognized Tribes, varies depending on the percentage of households lacking sufficient access to broadband in a Proposed Funded Service Area.
