(Mar. 21, 2024) – Today, the House Health and Human Services Committee, chaired by Rep. Brenda Landwehr (R-Wichita), debated House Bill 2556, the Medicaid expansion legislation.
The committee saw a motion to pass the legislation out of committee without recommendation. After much discussion, the committee voted on party lines to not recommend the bill favorably for passage.
