(Feb. 28, 2024) – Today, the House Health and Human Services Committee, chaired by Brenda Landwehr (R-Wichita) met. The committee opened up Senate Bill 219, the committee removed the contents and added in the content of the original
House Bill 2637, Expanding eligibility for rural emergency hospital licensure to facilities that meet criteria at any point after 2015. The committee recommended the bill as amended.
