(Jan. 31, 2024) – Today, the House Appropriations Committee, chaired by Rep. Troy Waymaster (R-Bunker Hill), heard an update from State Community and Technical Colleges. Heather Morgan, executive director of the Kansas Association of Community Colleges, highlighted that enrollments have increased by 10,000 students in training, nursing programs and the CNA training but not staying for LPN training.
