(April 29, 2024)—Today, the Senate worked the CCR House Substitute for Senate Bill 419. The legislation relates to controlled substances and provides immunity from prosecution for certain drug crimes when persons seek or provide medical assistance related to the use of a controlled substance. The Senate adopted the conference committee report on a vote of 36-0, and it now goes to the House.
