The American Hospital Association convenes this event to bring together hospital leaders from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. AHA staff sets a full agenda to discuss current and future hospital and health care issues.

Health Care Preceptor Academy - Sept. 19

Our Preceptor Academy team has formed a collaboration with the Midwest Clinical Instruction Regional Network to provide updated materials, content, and support for our Health Care Preceptor Academy. Preceptors assume the vital role of orienting new staff to their roles, as well as onboarding them to the department's and organization's culture.

KAHPAM Education Program - Sept. 19

The Kansas Association of Healthcare Patient Access and Account Managers is an organization of individuals employed by Kansas hospitals and other health care organizations that are concerned with or involved in health care accounts receivable management. Today, more than ever before, patient access and patient account personnel play a vital role in the entire revenue cycle for hospitals and health care facilities.

340B Legislative Lunch and Learn - Sept. 23

The 340B Drug Pricing Program is targeted at helping health care safety net providers and their patients by providing low-cost drugs for patients and cost savings for providers. This, in turn, allows them to provide increased access to care.

NRHA CAH Conference - Sept. 25-27

The obstacles faced by patients and health care providers in rural areas are vastly different than those in urban areas. Economic factors, cultural and social differences, educational barriers, remote isolation, and a lack of recognition by legislators often compound to create health care disparities and impede rural Americans in their pursuit to lead a life that is healthy and equitable.

(Sept. 19, 2025) – The KHA Leadership Institute graduated its 23rd class of 31 students on Sept. 5, at the KHA Annual Convention and Trade Show in Wichita, Kansas. Students were nominated by their hospital's CEO to be part of this select group. They represent the future leaders of Kansas hospitals.
