The KHA Workers' Compensation Fund Safety Seminar provides broad information on safety in health care, OSHA reporting, changes and trends in workers’ comp, and networking opportunities. Fund members who attend the seminar will receive a one-time $500 credit on their 2027 premiums.

The CDC and KDHE have released updated resources for health care facilities to help reduce the spread of respiratory viruses. Please share and utilize these resources to support your infection prevention efforts.

Measles Vaccination Rate in Kansas Kindergarteners Continues to Decline

The measles/mumps/rubella vaccination rate in Kansas kindergarten age children is 90.26 percent for the 2025 – 2026 school year, according to the KDHE Kindergarten Immunization Data Dashboard. This is down from a rate of 94.47 percent in the 2019 – 2020 school year.

Immunize Kansas Coalition Resources for Flu and Respiratory Season

Immunize Kansas Coalition offers key resources for health care providers and professionals to support flu and respiratory virus vaccination efforts across Kansas. The resources are available at no cost and include #KansasFightsFlu campaign materials.

Perinatal Substance Use: Recognition, Reporting and Supporting – Oct. 28

KDHE's upcoming Perinatal Substance Use: Recognition, Reporting and Supporting training will provide an overview of Kansas-mandated reporting requirements for the perinatal population and practical guidance for supporting families impacted by substance use.
