President's Perspective – Ongoing Efforts on the Rural Health Transformation Program
It is exciting to see the activities of the RHTP in the early stages of implementation. Over the next several months, there will be several opportunities for hospitals to engage and leverage the available programs. Recently, KDHE shared details on four of the seven priority programs slated for early implementation.

KSBHA Continues Limited Pilot of New Form to Expedite Physician Licensure
The KSBHA introduced a new Postgraduate Training Year 3 Verification Form in 2025 to help streamline physician licensure for eligible applicants. KSBHA is continuing this pilot in 2026.
