Healthworks has a 13-member board of directors. KHA is the sole member of Healthworks. The directors are KHA members and others who support the vision and values of the Foundation. Since 1969, Healthworks has played an important role in helping KHA achieve its mission and vision.

KHSC Board Meeting - May 26

KHSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission of serving hospitals. Its mission is to provide enhanced value to KHA members by evaluating and endorsing selected vendors of services needed by the KHA membership. KHSC will be a valuable resource to Kansas healthcare facilities and the Kansas Hospital Association as they serve their constituents.

KHA Board Retreat - May 27-29

KHA has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include the American Hospital Association delegate.

Education Speaker (May 22, 2026) –Do you have insights, innovations, or experiences that can help shape a stronger, healthier Kansas? The Kansas Health Opportunities Coalition invites you to submit a speaking proposal for the 2026 Kansas Health Impact Conference on Oct. 29 in Topeka, Kansas. They are seeking speakers who can lead meaningful conversations focused on advancing access, strengthening connections, and improving health outcomes for all Kansans. The deadline to submit a speaker proposal is May 22, 2026. Submit your proposal online at kfmc.org/khic-call-for-speakers.

The Kansas Hospital Association is a member of the Kansas Health Opportunities Coalition. The coalition is a group of organizations working together to provide tools and resources to help Kansans lead a healthy life.
