(Oct. 9, 2026) – The Kansas Hospital Association invites rural hospital leaders and health care professionals to attend the 2026 Rural Health Symposium on Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hays. Held in conjunction with National Rural Health Day, the symposium will bring together health care leaders from across Kansas to explore the challenges, opportunities and emerging issues facing rural hospitals and the communities they serve.
This year's program will feature timely discussions on cybersecurity preparedness, emergency response and hospital evacuations, financial challenges and opportunities, federal health care policy and the future of rural health care delivery.

The symposium will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Hays, 221 W. 43rd St., Hays, KS 67601. A room block is reserved for Wednesday, Nov. 18, at a special rate of $147 per night, plus tax. The room block is available through Thursday, Oct. 29.
