Rapid Rounds: Clinical Essentials for Perinatal Mental Health Webinar Series
(Dec. 19, 2025) – Kansas Connecting Communities and the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians are collaborating to host a perinatal mental health webinar series in January. This three-part series, Rapid Rounds: Clinical Essentials for Perinatal Mental Health, will be from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. CST on Jan. 6, 13 and 20. During the series, Erin Bider, MD; Tara Chettiar, MD, PMH-C, FACOG; and Erica Hunter, LBSW, will discuss perinatal behavioral health conditions, including mental health and substance use disorders, as well as a common childbirth complication for which an estimated 75 percent of those affected do not receive treatment.

Family medicine physicians and clinicians will learn about leading screening and treatment recommendations, along with billing tips for addressing perinatal behavioral health concerns in primary care settings. Two and one-quarter free continuing medical education credits are available to KAFP members. Certificates of attendance will be provided to all attendees.
