2026 Convention Logo Unstoppable Together (July 10, 2026) – I hope you will join us for the Kansas Hospital Association Annual Convention and Trade Show on Sept. 10-11 at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center. With guidance from the KHA Convention Planning Committee, we have developed a program featuring timely education, inspiring speakers and valuable networking opportunities, all centered on this year's theme, Unstoppable Together.

We are excited to welcome an outstanding lineup of nationally recognized speakers. We will kick off Thursday morning with Kevin Brown, who will challenge us to create extraordinary experiences through The Hero Effect. Next, RaDonda Vaught will share her powerful, deeply personal story in Learning from Tragedy, which explores the importance of accountability, transparency and improved patient safety.

Thursday afternoon, Jon Carmichael will inspire attendees with The Eclipse Mindset, encouraging us to embrace uncertainty, pursue innovation and recognize opportunities that arise from change.

Friday begins with Theresa Payton, former White House Chief Information Officer, who will explore the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence in AI and the Future of Us.

As we close this year's convention, we are pleased to welcome the legendary Voice of the Kansas City Chiefs, Mitch Holthus, who will share lessons on leadership, teamwork and perseverance.

In addition to exceptional educational programming, attendees will have opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the state at networking events. Visit the Trade Show to learn about innovative products and services, and celebrate excellence at the KHA Awards Luncheon. We also look forward to gathering Thursday evening at the KHA lounge, where attendees can relax, reconnect and enjoy food and entertainment.

This is only a preview of what this year's convention has to offer. I encourage you to explore the full schedule, speaker details and event information, and to register early to secure your place. The brochure and registration materials should arrive soon and are available online.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the KHA team. We look forward to seeing you in Overland Park this September as we come together, learn from one another and continue moving Kansas health care Unstoppable Together.
