(July 24, 2026) – The Region VII Disaster Health Response Ecosystem invites hospital and EMS participation in an EMS Blood Coalition Landscape Survey. The survey aims to inform the development of best practices for establishing a minimally viable prehospital EMS blood coalition model. It also seeks to identify challenges and the key functions and capabilities needed to successfully launch and sustain a program, drawing on real-world experience and subject-matter expertise. A roundtable discussion is planned for later this year.
Please forward the EMS Blood Coalition Landscape Survey to local EMS agencies and other stakeholders who may be interested in participating in the survey or the roundtable discussion. Please complete the survey by Aug. 10.
