he Healthcare Financial Management Association is a national organization for healthcare financial management professionals. Its members are employed by hospitals, integrated delivery systems, long-term and ambulatory care facilities, managed care organizations, medical group practices, public accounting and consulting firms, insurance companies, government agencies, and other healthcare organizations.

KHELSA Education Program - Oct. 23-24,

KHELSA provides networking, support and education for persons involved in the many facets of housekeeping and laundry for health care institutions. By sponsoring statewide educational programs, members stay informed about management issues, as well as housekeeping and laundry issues.

Hospital Board Leaders’ Program (first of a series of three) - Oct. 23

This program is for board chairs, chair-elects , vice chairs and board members in line to be chair. Session resources will be shared with the board members CEOadministrator since they will not be able to attend the program.

We are excited to offer the membership the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities at your hospitals with policymakers. This year, we are excited to host legislative dinners throughout the state featuring interactive conversations about hospital challenges.

Physicians – Join Us for the Kansas Physician Leader Forum – Nov. 7

Physician Leadership (Oct. 24, 2025) – In partnership with the Kansas Medical Society, KHA is hosting a Kansas Physician Leader Forum from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7. The agenda features a nationally recognized expert who will speak about the AI-Powered Future of Health Care. There will also be a panel discussion on best practices in physician recruitment and retention. Additionally, current policy and advocacy topics, as well as communication tips, will be covered. We encourage all current or emerging physician leaders in hospitals, clinics and other health care organizations to attend. The forum will be at the KAMMCO Jimmie A. Gleason, MD, Conference Center, 623 SW 10th, Topeka, KS. Please register by Oct. 31. There is no cost to attend thanks to the generous support of KAMMCO. We look forward to seeing you there!
