Perinatal Substance Use: Recognition, Reporting and Supporting – Oct. 28
(Oct. 16, 2026) – There's still time to register for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's upcoming Perinatal Substance Use: Recognition, Reporting and Supporting training. The training is from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 28. The 90-minute session will provide an overview of Kansas-mandated reporting requirements for the perinatal population and practical guidance for supporting families impacted by substance use. Participants will work through real-world case examples and have the opportunity to ask questions directly of representatives from the Kansas Department for Children and Families and KDHE.
