We are excited to offer the membership the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities at your hospitals with policymakers. This year, we are excited to host legislative dinners throughout the state featuring interactive conversations about hospital challenges.

KHA Board Meeting - Nov. 5

KHA has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include the American Hospital Association delegate.

Sunflower Health Network Board Meeting - Nov. 6

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 26 counties located primarily in North Central and North West Kansas. Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

Pioneer Health Network - KHA Workforce Roundtable - Nov. 6

The goal of this event is to evaluate the current health care workforce landscape and facilitate new conversations that build on progress and explore further opportunities for advancement.

Noon Briefing: Navigating Immigration Visas in Health Care – Nov. 19

Immigration Law (Oct. 31, 2025) – Join the Kansas Hospital Association for a Noon Briefing on Wednesday, Nov. 19, where Don Berner from Foulston Siefkin LLP, will provide an overview designed to help hospital leaders understand the fundamentals of immigration visas in health care settings. The session will cover key visa types, common employer pitfalls and steps to take before engaging in recruitment or sponsorship.

Participants will gain practical knowledge of which questions to ask, when to seek legal guidance and how to prepare their organization to confidently navigate these requirements.
