New Risk Management Survey Procedures

KDHE (April 17, 2026) – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment's Bureau of Facilities and Licensing has announced a new risk-management survey process. Details, including recordings, slides and questions and answers from the March 19 Facilities and Licensing Quarterly Webinar, are available. Click the Past Webinars tab at Facilities & Licensing | KDHE, KS.

To support the educational goal of the risk management survey process, they will not issue deficiencies or require a plan of correction at the conclusion of the survey.
