(Oct. 31, 2025) – Results of the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area 2025 Threat Assessment show fentanyl and methamphetamine remain the top two drug threats in our region. According to HIDTA's report, this conclusion was based on responses to a law enforcement survey and a public health survey conducted by the Midwest HIDTA initiative, as well as drug trend data and other related information collected during the past 12 months.
