(Feb. 6, 2025) – The Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition has updated its reference,
Medications and Lactation. The quick reference includes an algorithm for reviewing medication safety during breastfeeding, descriptions of lactation risk categories, and common scenarios in which breastfeeding and/or the use of breast milk should NOT be interrupted. Contributing partners to this resource include High 5 for Mom & Baby, the UNC School of Medicine, and the University of Kansas Health System.
