LPNs and LVNs in Care Delivery: Executive Perspectives – Sept. 16

AONL (Sept. 4, 2026) – This complimentary webinar at 2 p.m. on Sept. 16 will examine how nurse leaders are integrating licensed practical nurses and licensed vocational nurses into broader care model redesign. Drawing on the Chartis Center for Burnout Solutions/AONL Quick Hit survey results, AONL CEO Claire Zangerle will discuss national patterns in LPN/LVN utilization, key barriers to implementation and members' priorities for AONL support, including best-practice guidance and thought leadership.

Executive panelists will share practical insights on effectively integrating LPNs and LVNs into acute care models, including defining roles, supporting delegation, addressing scope-of-practice issues, building career pathways and engaging stakeholders.

After this webinar, participants will leave with a clearer understanding of both the opportunity and the operational considerations for expanding LPN and LVN roles in contemporary care delivery.
