Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day – Feb. 18, 2026
(Dec. 5, 2025) – Registration is now open for the 2026 Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day. We invite Kansas hospitals to join us for the event on Feb. 18. The Kansas Hospital Association, Kansas State Department of Education and Kansas Board of Regents have once again partnered to create an excellent agenda for our 2026 event.
The Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day will take students inside Kansas hospitals to explore various career opportunities in health care and engage them in real-world learning. Students of all ages, and grade levels, are invited to join this event. Health care providers will share insights into fields such as radiology/imaging, pediatrics, laboratory work, advanced practice providers, social services, dietary, EMT/paramedicine and orthopedics and sports medicine.
This free event is completely virtual and will be hosted on Zoom. You will automatically receive the Zoom link and a calendar invite after registering. Some schools choose to participate through health science classes, while others broadcast to an open cafeteria, auditorium, resource room or similar space for all students to watch. Some hospitals host students for the event. KHA has compiled a list of ideas to help hospitals engage with local students interested in health care careers during this event and promote hospital participation.
With February being Career and Technical Education Month, this event offers students an excellent opportunity to learn more about careers in a highly in-demand industry! All education levels and members of the public are invited to join this free event from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CST on Feb. 18, 2026.
