Kansas' Clinical Guidance on Childhood Immunization Schedules Remains Unchanged
(Jan. 23, 2025) – In its
Jan. 16 notice to the Kansas Health Alert Network, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment notified vaccine providers, that at this time, KDHE does not anticipate any changes to Kansas' clinical guidance on childhood immunization schedules. In the HAN, KDHE emphasized the importance of relying on evidence-based sources and encouraged providers to continue relying on their clinical training and professional judgement, as well as immunization schedules published by the
American Academy of Pediatrics and the
American Academy of Family Physicians.
