Kansas Board of Pharmacy Engagement Session: Shared Services in Medical Care Facilities
(Aug. 28, 2026) – The Kansas Board of Pharmacy continues to receive feedback on the proposed
KAR 68-7-20 regarding shared services in retail dispensing. In response, the KBOP executive secretary and attorney will host a virtual, interactive Engagement Session for pharmacists at medical care facilities from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.15. KBOP staff will provide a brief overview of state and federal requirements for moving medication across health systems and hospital pharmacies, including specific examples of different types of activity. A Q&A will also be held. KBOP has sent this invitation to each medical care facility's Pharmacist-in-Charge.
Advance registration is required to attend. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from KBOP with information on joining the meeting. The information provided by KBOP during the session is not intended as legal advice.
