(July 17, 2026) – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment published the latest issue of
Semmelweis Times, a quarterly newsletter covering health care-acquired infections, antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship. The newsletter includes an update on community pharmacy test and treatment, KDHE essential travel health resources and a multi-drug-resistant organisms collaborative pilot initiative in Wichita in partnership with KDHE, KFMC Health Improvement Partners and long-term care facilities.
