(June 19, 2026) – The Kansas Hospital Association is pleased to announce that Jaron Caffrey, formerly the director of workforce and health care policy, has been promoted to vice president of government relations and policy. Jaron began his KHA career as an intern with our data analytics team but found a niche addressing workforce challenges and soon grew his responsibilities to incorporate other priority areas including federal policy initiatives.
In this new role, Jaron will take on more responsibility in KHA's advocacy efforts, working closely with state and federal policymakers, member hospitals and key stakeholders to advance policies that support Kansas hospitals and the patients they serve. Since joining KHA, Jaron has demonstrated exceptional leadership, expertise and commitment to our mission. This promotion reflects his significant contributions and the confidence we have in his ability to further strengthen our government relations efforts.
