(June 5, 2026) – Join Dr. Stephanie Kuhlmann, a pediatric hospitalist in Wichita and a board member of the Kansas Child Death Review Board, from noon to 1 p.m. on June 9 to explore how infant mortality data can shape and strengthen safe-sleep messaging. The Zoom webinar will review state data on sleep-related infant deaths compared with other causes of childhood mortality and examine how risk perception influences caregivers' decisions about safe-sleep practices. Participants will also discuss practical strategies to address common barriers families face in creating safe sleep environments and in supporting consistent messaging across health care and community settings.
