Feedback Requested to Assess Allied Health Workforce Needs

Workforce (Oct. 10, 2025) – The Kansas Hospital Association is conducting a brief survey, in collaboration with the University of Kansas Medical Center School of Health Professions and the Underserved Communities Have a Medical Provider initiative. The survey asks hospitals to identify allied health roles that have been in high demand during the past year and to specify whether certain recruitment and retention benefits are being offered.

Your input will help identify workforce needs and incentives—such as scholarships, tuition assistance and loan forgiveness—across Kansas hospitals. The results will be used by KHA and the KU School of Health Professions to guide potential initiatives and connect students interested in serving in rural Kansas.
